Briciva ("Briciva", "we", "us", or "our") is an Android application designed to help users calculate construction and renovation materials, estimate costs, manage local projects, create shopping lists, and export project information as PDF documents.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Briciva application.

Briciva is designed as a local-first application. Project and calculation data is stored locally on your device. Briciva does not require you to create an account and does not operate a cloud account or user database.

However, Briciva uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to display advertisements and manage applicable privacy and consent choices. These third-party services may process certain device and usage information as described below.

2. Information Stored Locally

Briciva stores certain information locally on your Android device to provide its functionality.

Calculator inputs

Waste percentages

Briciva does not upload this project information to a Briciva server.

3. No Briciva Account Required

Briciva does not require users to:

Sign in
Create a cloud profile

Briciva does not maintain a cloud-based user account database.

4. Advertising and Google Mobile Ads

Briciva uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display advertisements.

Because Briciva uses Google Mobile Ads, Google and its advertising technology may automatically collect or process certain information from the device.

Depending on the applicable configuration, device settings, consent status, and Google services, this may include:

IP address
Android advertising identifier
App set identifiers or other device/account identifiers
Information about interactions with the application
Advertisement interactions
Application launch information
Diagnostic and performance information

Google states that Google Mobile Ads SDK data may be collected and shared for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. Data transmitted by the SDK is encrypted in transit.

Briciva does not directly receive or store this advertising information as part of its local project database.

Google may process this information according to its own privacy policies and terms.

5. Privacy and Consent

Briciva uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where applicable to manage privacy choices and consent requirements related to advertising.

Depending on your location and applicable regulations, you may be shown a privacy or consent message before certain advertisements are requested.

Briciva checks the applicable consent status before requesting advertisements where required by the advertising SDK configuration.

Where available, users may also access privacy options from within the application.

Your choices may affect the types of advertisements that can be displayed.

6. PDF Export and Sharing

Briciva can generate PDF documents locally on the Android device.

PDF files may contain information entered or generated by the user, such as:

Project name
Measurements
Calculator type
Material quantities
Waste percentage
Unit prices
Estimated costs
Currency
Other project information

PDF files are generated locally.

When you choose to share or save a PDF, Android's sharing or document system may provide the file to an application or service selected by you.

Briciva does not control how a third-party application handles a PDF after you choose to share it.

7. Shopping Lists and Cost Information

Shopping lists and cost information are generated from project and calculator information stored on the device.

Briciva does not send your shopping lists, project costs, or calculator inputs to a Briciva server.

Users are responsible for the information they enter into the application, including prices and project details.

8. Data Sharing

Briciva does not sell your locally stored project information.

Briciva does not provide your project data to advertisers.

However, third-party services integrated into the application, particularly Google Mobile Ads and related Google privacy and consent services, may process information as described in this Privacy Policy.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share certain device and usage information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.

9. Data Security

Briciva is designed to keep project and calculation information locally on the user's device.

Information transmitted by Google Mobile Ads SDK services is protected using encryption in transit, according to Google's documentation.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Briciva project and calculation information is stored locally on your device.

You can delete individual projects using the application's project management functionality.

You can also remove locally stored Briciva data through Android's application settings or by uninstalling the application, subject to Android's device behavior and backup settings.

Because Briciva does not maintain a Briciva cloud account containing your projects, there is no Briciva server account from which your locally stored projects must be deleted.

Advertising-related information handled by Google Mobile Ads is subject to Google's applicable retention and privacy practices.

11. Children's Privacy

Briciva is a general-purpose utility application and is not specifically directed to children.

Briciva does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Advertising and consent behavior may be affected by applicable age, regional, and advertising requirements.

12. Third-Party Services

Briciva uses third-party services necessary for advertising and privacy/consent functionality.

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

Used to display advertisements.

Because Briciva does not maintain a cloud account containing your projects, most project information can be controlled directly through the application and your Android device.
